This option is perfect for a Friday night and all-day Saturday event.  Great to invite existing group leaders, new leaders, and staff – to all get on the “same page”.  This workshop will teach a model of growing groups, multiplying leaders, multiplying groups, and even multiplying new worship gatherings.

Level 1:
Small Group Leader Training
(new small group leaders)

This is a two-day (8-9 hours) workshop that is designed for creating common vision for your small group ministry and/or church. This workshop is ideal to work with all church leaders, small group leaders, and church staff.  This could also be ideal for a Friday night and all-day Saturday retreat. This workshop is also a great “kick-off” for new small group leaders, to give them tools for starting a group and beginning a group with common vision from the start.  Level 1 is a practical course, geared at the basics of discipleship, how to launch small groups, how to identify and birth new small groups, and how to maintain a culture of multiplication in the church.

Ideal Calendar Times:

• Session 1: Intro and Vision of Small Groups
• Session 2: Small Group Life – Definition and Purpose (internal focus)
• Session 3: Small Group Life – Group Dynamics (internal focus)

• Session 5: Small Group Life – Evangelism through the Small Group (external focus)
• Session 6: Multiplication and Small Group Resources (external focus)

Level 2:
Small Group Training
(coaching and mentoring leaders)

Level 2 curriculum is a one-day course (7 sessions) on “Coaching” and “Next level” Christian Leadership – for those leaders who have birthed new small groups and are now mentoring and coaching other small group leaders.  Topics include: Spiritual warfare, Fasting/Praying for healing, Spiritual disciplines, Christian personal and family balance, how to mentor and lead others, and more!

This model would be perfect for getting a team away for a Friday-Saturday retreat.  Spend 3 hours in workshop on Friday night and 5-6 hours of training on a Saturday.  With the additional time away, this model is ideal for spending time vision casting and developing a plan of action.

We can also help with various consulting services:  We can also teach a COACHING workshop, for those who are mentoring leaders; We can lead Encounter retreats (28-hour retreat focused on spiritual freedom and launching people into the life of discipleship; and helping with strategic planning and annual Small Group / Discipleship project management.

We also have conducted these workshops in various international settings and in addition to English workbooks, we have translated modules in Spanish, Arabic, Lugandan, French, and Swahili.  (Burmese and Filipino are currently being translated).
